Congratulations to Colorado Public Schools' Scholarship Winners

College Consultants of Colorado (CCC) has awarded three $1000 scholarships to the Class of 2025 graduates. The Colorado high school students who will be attending both in- and out-of-state colleges, were nominated by counselors at their high schools.

College Consultants of Colorado is a group of independent educational consultants who help students and families navigate the complex college search and application process.  Awarding the aforementioned scholarships was made possible through members’ generous contributions to a CCC scholarship fund.

Name: Taniska Tagare

College/University: University of Colorado - Boulder

Intended major: Aerospace Engineering (major), Business (minor)

Future Goals: I hope to combine aerospace engineering and business to become a leader in the space industry, using technology to advance human exploration and improve life on Earth.

Name: Ellie Parsons

College/University: Santa Clara University

Intended major: Neuroscience or Economics, Music minor

Future Goals: My future goals are to study sports-related brain injuries like CTE through a major in neuroscience or economics, while continuing my passion for oboe performance through a music minor. I'm driven by an interdisciplinary curiosity that combines the science of the brain with the expressive power of music to make a meaningful impact on others’ lives.

College/University:  Columbia University

Intended Major:  History and Visual Arts

Future Goals: 

I hope to pursue law in the future and want to work defending the civil rights of marginalized people through everything I do.
