Molly has dedicated over 20 years to teaching and guiding students through the college planning process, building meaningful relationships that contribute to their success. With a BS in Education from Mount St. Mary’s University and an MA in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kent State University, she brings both educational and communication expertise to her work. Her professional path—from teaching English to Journalism—sparked her passion for helping students navigate the complexities of the college application process, especially in writing essays that reflect their authentic voices.
Molly emphasizes the importance of finding colleges that fit students’ goals and personalities, guiding them in developing strong activity lists, completing applications with confidence, and crafting meaningful essays. She believes every student has a story worth sharing and loves helping them discover the power in their experiences, no matter how simple they may seem. Her supportive approach reduces stress and empowers students to present their best selves.
Outside of her consulting work, Molly enjoys hiking, jogging, and playing mahjong and bridge. She and her husband, Brian, are proud parents of two: Zoe, a graduate of Bucknell University, and Jake, a current student at Gettysburg College.
