A Denver native, and Denver Public Schools (DPS) graduate, Kim has worked in a variety of education spaces over the past 30 years. As a Student Success Advisor with Guild Education, she provided clients with college, career, and life coaching resources and guidance in their post-secondary pursuits.  During her tenure at DPS’ College and Career Success Department, she worked closely alongside hundreds of high school students to design purposeful plans for the future. Kim is committed to helping students find their best "fit" academically, socially, and financially.  

Kim holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from University of Colorado at Denver and a B.A. from Grinnell College in Political Science.  She sits on the boards of the Donnell-Kay Foundation and Sammy’s Buddy Program.
